Designtalks brought together experts from various fields of architecture, urbanism, and design to present current projects, visions, and approaches shaping the contemporary architectural scene. The program offered a diverse range of topics—from the reconstruction of European institutions and the restoration of functionalist monuments to experimental acoustic spaces and the philosophy of sustainable design.
The event was organized by architect Gabriela Fukatsch from the Modulor studio, which is known for its precise style and consistent application of the principles of functionalism and minimalism. The studio’s work is characterized by clean lines, attention to detail, and a harmonious connection between space, light, and materials. Modulor has won several international awards, confirming its long-standing emphasis on quality and sustainability. Its latest success is the Photography Studios in Hrušov project, which won two ICONIC DESIGN Awards this year – for circular design and architecture. This project has become a striking example of how the principles of the circular economy can be applied in practice while creating an architectural work of high aesthetic value.
